In 12 hours of crunch time, I earned 34 million credits.
That's not normal.
How is that possible?
Since the beginning of this project, there has been a problem with credits.

Same here in our team (SETI.Germany).
Millions are added to the total credit by the hour.

Hopefully it can be fixed, individual tasks info still looks correct. Somewhere credit recently got multiplied by 100 in the internal database calculations.

Absolutely.

Not seeing this issue on any of my hosts. All look normal for awarded credits and totals. Where do I sign up to get the "extra" credits. : -}

I do not see any over credit issues.

All mine give 200 credits and that is all.

Where is the over credit applied as it is not to my work units.

1 - Its over. New additional credits are back to normal. If you didn't participate from ~Jan 4th to 7th, this doesn't apply.

2 - No one ever said each task is worth more than 200. Never once.

3 - But if you were to add up credit from all the tasks, it doesn't add up to the credit for a host/user. Credit for a given task is being added multiple times to a host/user.
Example. A host has completed 100 tasks x 200 per task should be 20,000 credit but the host and user are given 50,000. All tasks are still visible from Day 1 of the project.

Actual example: The top computer of all computers at Spacious:
State: All (5793) · In progress (320) · Validation pending (246) · Validation inconclusive (0) · Valid (5120) · Invalid (0) · Error (107)

5120 x 200 should equal 1,024,000 BUT has a total of 663,785,600 credit. 663x more than it should have received. Pretty messed up.

I guess I missed out on that little bonus then.

I have increased my resource share here to try and pull back some of the 50 ranking places I lost since November, due to this issue.

Plus GAIA seems to have gone into hiatus so I will concentrate a bit more here

Look up the grant at the bottom of this page. This guy is getting over 500 000 euro per year to run a BOINC server that costs maybe 100 per month. And he can't even respond to the forum or bother to fix scoring problems.

Yeah Spacious is basically the new Gaia. Find/Replace Gaia with Spacious and you have this. The exe is 75% the same, task name and app the same format, etc. Spacious funding started when Gaia ended. Increment Gaia IP by one and you have Spacious IP.
To smaller extent this happened already here and its happened at Gaia.

IDK what these WU's are doing.

But your account shows them as 200 each, correct?
Your PCs are hidden and no link to any task/host.

Seems like just another lazy Admin/Dev with no communication taking advantage of the BOINC volunteers. Glad I never started running this. BOINC Projects have really gone down the crapper in the past few years.

...same here with the Rechenkraft.net Team. I had a few hundred credits, now I have around 65 Million.

While the client, the Spacious@home website and BOINCstats show these 65 Mio credits, the Free-DC stats system doesn't - they show "just" around 5 Mio credits.
Not sure what is happening but on top of these irregular over credits the stats systems appear no longer consistent now which is very bad for the community.
