Dear SPACIOUS@home team,

I would like to kindly highlight that the project currently uses only a very small fraction of the computing power available on the BOINC platform. Since SPACIOUS@home provides only a Linux application, it cannot reach the large majority of BOINC volunteers, as Windows hosts historically represent around 70–80% of the active computing capacity.

Adding a Windows application would dramatically increase the number of contributors, the total FLOPS, and the scientific impact of the project. Considering that SPACIOUS is publicly funded through Horizon Europe, maximizing accessibility and volunteer participation would strongly benefit both the consortium and the taxpayers who support this research.
