340 * 200 = 68,000, so I should have 68,000 points.
So how is it that I already have 212,000 points ?
There must be a mistake !!!

I already did that. Valid (2463)
So 492,600.
And in my account, I have a total credit of 1,135,600.
Where is the error?

Credit today just exploded for many individuals.

The TAAT page gets data once a day and will lag behind the project site. This is the case for every project.

The topic was started as there's now several times more credit per day while run times are the same.

I have 2631 valid tasks as of right that should come out to 526,200 credits yet on my account page I have 1,098,200 credits.

Not seeing this issue on my account. 245 valid tasks for 49,000 credits which is exactly what my account total here shows.

Whatever happened is back to normal. I'm running with the same hardware (minus a few threads here and there for CDPN) and for a period there was ~5x credit between 10/20 to 11/9. The dip in the middle is a lack of work. Before and after it's been a consistent 190-200k for me which seems to be correct. Run times have been consistent.

Gaia also has had some periods of very high credit in years past.

Free-DC has a NEWS banner, that says SPACIOUS will no longer be updated until the scoring issue is fixed. This freeze occurred a few hours into the first day of the issue, so some elevated scores do show there.

Previous to the scoring debacle, some cat named 10esseetony was in the lead, making at best 710,000 ppd, getting chased by number two, stoneageman (typically 690,000 ppd).

It has been suggested elsewhere, for Free-DC to manually remove the few days of points that were in error, but that seems like quite the ask. You can anonymously leave your opinion on that option at free-dc. https://stats.free-dc.org/chat/

I also noticed the problem. For now I'm running the project on a single computer that has 46 200 credits (231 wus) but the account total is 64 600.

The service was hit by a strange credit calculation issue. Credits awarded for individual tasks are correct.
The program that maintains the counter for individual users and teams went completely haywire and was accumulating credits in an endless loop.
We reverted to the counter from before the outage and added credits from tasks for the days when the system was not working properly. The difference in the number (tasks x credits) may be due to database cleanup from historical calculations.
We tried to recover as much as possible to reflect reality. We didn't want to delete the accumulated credits before database maintenance (adding only existing task credits in the database). This may be why the totals for tasks don't match. We apologize for the inconvenience and the inconsistency.
